Speech Pathologists

Linda Phillips B.App.Sc.

Linda graduated from the Lincoln Institute Melbourne with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) in 1981. Linda has over 30 years experience working in a variety of community and educational settings.

ESDMThe practice was established in 1989 and Linda has been a consultant to local schools and preschools since that time. She has an interest in the assessment and treatment of dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, and stuttering.

Linda Phillips is also the only qualified Cogmed coach in the district. Cogmed is a training program to improve working memory in adults and children.  Find out more at www.cogmed.com.au.

 

Amy Heath B.Hlth.Sc.(Speech Pathology)

Amy Heath is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. She Graduated from Charles Sturt University in Albury with a Bachelor of Health Science (Speech Pathology) in 2006. She has many years’ experience working with children, adolescents and adults across a range of settings. She enjoys working alongside families in helping them achieve their child’s goals and provides a supportive environment in the clinic that enables this to occur.

 

Laura Hams B.Hlth.Sc.(Speech Pathology)

Laura is a qualified Speech Pathologist with an interest in assessment and treatment of children of all ages with communication difficulties. She grew up in Bendigo and graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Speech Pathology in 2022. Laura enjoys supporting children and their families to work towards their communication goals. She has a strong interest in early language development, speech sound disorders, dyslexia and social communication difficulties. Outside of work, Laura keeps active with weekly Parkruns and going to the gym. She enjoys regular visits to her family and friends in Bendigo.
